Save me, Apple.
Gah. I am craving a new Mac. I miss mine so bad. I get all teary-eyed whenever I see a 17" Powerbook in a shop. My mum has said that I can attempt to claim on her contents insurance to try and get myself a new one, which is nice of her. But what to get? A lovely new iMac? The equally lovely, but somehow not-quite-up-to-expectations MacBook Pro? Or hold out a little longer for the new 17" MacBook Pro, or even the new iBook/MacBook? If Apple do the new iBook/MacBook in glossy black, like the newer iPods, count me in, I'm sold.
This is probably fake, but I love it.
Call me shallow, but not only do I come from the Henry Ford school when it comes to car colours, it applies to computers too. I've attempted to learn to love my PC laptop, mostly by tweaking it to make it as much like a Mac as possible, but it just hasn't happened. I even tried to install the x86 build of OS X on it (the Deadmoo image that's been floating around teh intarweb for the past couple of months), but its hard drives aren't supported (note – if you have a laptop with SATA drives, it won't work, even with the patches that are out there).
Save me.
